POW Commenting Process Video

You've read the book, now see the video! Your friendly Computer Services support staff and College video production staff have been hard at work making a video to help you through the POW Commenting Process. The video was produced right here at Penn State in the College of Agricultural Sciences' studio and will be distributed by mail. It should be arriving at county offices by Friday, 3/5/99. Each College departmental Extension Coordinator at the University Park campus will also receive a copy, and there will be several copies in the Computer Services lending library for sign-out.

The video is a step-by-step visual aid to accompany the How To... documents created especially to help you through the POW Commenting Process. The best way to use the video will be to watch it while working at your computer with printed copies of the How To... documents at hand.

The How To... documents are available from the Help page at the POW Website or from the How To... database at the Computer Services Website.

If you have Eudora configured correctly, you can also link to the documents directly from this message by using these links:

POW Writing Teams are now at work on draft POWs. As drafts are ready for comment, they will be posted on the POW Website and you will be notified. All POW drafts will be posted by March 31. You may comment as soon as a draft POW is posted. The last day to comment on draft POWs will be April 15. The Co-Chairs are looking forward to hearing from you and would appreciate receiving an e-mail for each draft POW you read, even if all you say is that you like what they have written and wouldn't change a thing!

As always, if you need help or have any questions, please call Computer Services for support. Yvonne Clark
